Design Brief

The Oculus, also known as the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, is a plaza built in remembrance oThe Oculus, also known as the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, is a plaza built in rememberance of 9/11. The Oculus was designed by Santiago Calatrava. His vision behind the Oculus was inspired by a dove in flight. This was to help symbolize the peace that the future will bring despite past tragedies.

The gray blue colors were chosen in order to represent the strong steel that the oculus is made of and the sky that can be seen through the windows on the ceiling of the Oculus. The minimalistic text was chosen in order to not overwhelm the viewer.
